They are suddenly eveywhere – Scottish bluebells. English bluebells flower in Spring and are from a different plant family, closer to hiacynths. While Scottish bluebells come out later in summer and belong to the campanula family. The English call them harebells.
To the French they are la campanule, and the English ones are la jacinthe des bois.
